    "content": "We have 45 kilometres of road covering three constituencies. It stretches from Lurambi, Navakholo through to Musikoma in Bungoma. The former President of Kenya, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, launched it on 15th December 2015. To date, only 18 kilometres have been constructed. What baffles me is that the money that was paid initially as the mobilisation fee is even more than the number of kilometres that are covered. As the Committee looks into this issue, let them also look into the issue of gushy contractors who are just there to receive advance resources, pocket the money and leave the road to lie in a very bad state. It is important that Hon. Bady has brought the Petition now. We support it. When it will be brought on the Floor of the House, we will support it. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker."
