    "content": "Somebody is saying the greatest. Mr. Speaker, Sir, at 24 years, that young man was able to break the world marathon record. We join the people of Elgeyo Marakwet County, Kenyans at large and the people from the sporting fraternity in passing our heartfelt condolences to the widow, the two young children, Mzee Cheruiyot and the mother. May the Almighty God condole the family and rest the soul of Kelvin Kiptum in eternal peace. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I support the membership of the Senate Business Committee (SBC) that has been moved by the Senate Majority Leader. I am happy that the membership has largely been retained. We look forward to transacting a number of businesses. I hope that the SBC will prioritize matters that are hugely of concern to Kenyans such as the Report of the National Dialogue Committee. In my County of Nyamira, I have two wards, which have remained without Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) for close to eight months now. I hope that the SBC will prioritize the issue of revisiting the composition of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) so that the people of Nyamira County can get an opportunity to elect MCAs for the two wards which remain largely unrepresented."
