"content": "new legislators. His humility is something all of us would want to emulate. Sen. Cheruiyot is a very big person who works very small. It is such a challenge to those of us who would want to become majority leaders in the future. Madam Temporary Speaker, allow me to laud all the colleagues who have been here. We have had our highs and lows, but the fabric that has held us together remains. Yesterday, we had a bipartisan issue, where we were supposed to speak as a House in regards to respect for this particular House. We have been able to speak together and defend our House. There is no way we can speak for other Kenyans if we cannot speak for ourselves. Madam Temporary Speaker, I thank your office because you facilitated us, Members, to do our duties. We thank the Clerk of the Senate and the whole team that serves in the secretariat of our committees. I wish my colleagues a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year. I also wish the People of Kenya, especially the people of Nyandarua that I represent here, a Merry Christmas. I am very happy to serve as a Senator here. If the people of Nyandarua are watching, I ask them not to take this privilege away from me. I would want to continue serving them until the time when I feel I have done enough. Enjoy the rest of your holiday."
