"content": "I have met my long-time friend, Sen. Nyamu, the Bullfighter, the ‘deep state’ in Mundigi, and it has been quite an experience. I have met Sen. Oketch Gicheru who reminds me of Oloo Aringo. It has been a pleasant time to be in this House. I have also learnt a lot of what the House does. This is an extremely busy House. You can hardly have time for anything else. So, we deserve an opportunity to get back to our constituencies and have the festive season with them and recharge for the next Session. I thank everybody that I have met in this House, from the Members to the support staff. Nobody has disappointed me. I speak as a happy person. I have met my son, the Senator of Nyandarua County, Sen. Methu, who is a great fellow. It has been worthwhile. I have been able to represent issues concerning Busia County and the nation. I felt at home and was not intimidated by anything. I will cut my speech short by wishing everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
