"content": "As we go into the new year, I know the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) has had its issues. We hope that the Parliamentary Committee will give us a way forward on what really happened to KCPE results. Madam Temporary Speaker, going into the future, we request the Presidential Working Team to liaise with parents and other stakeholders, so that we can fix the education reforms. I thank the Government for subsidised fertilizer. I hope we shall get the Kshs2,500 fertilizers in December and January, so that we continue to plant maize. I know the Deputy President, H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, is in charge of agricultural reforms, especially tea, sugar and coffee. We are now getting a 90-kilogramme bag of maize at Kshs4,000. I hope these reforms can be fast-tracked, so that we live on our mantra of guaranteed minimum returns. Additionally, we hope to see reforms in the sugar sector that my brother has talked about. Nandi County is becoming a serious nuclear in terms of sugarcane production. What is close to my heart is the issue of Members of County Assembly (MCAs). I assure MCAs across the country, that with the blessing of the President, we are likely to see more reforms, especially on financial autonomy, the welfare of MCAs and Ward Development Fund (WDF) going into the future. We look forward to working and ensuring that all MCAs get the necessary ability and capacity. Finally, I wish all the best to the great people Nandi County and this Republic. I wish to tell the people of Nandi County that I shall not tire, retreat or surrender in pushing for development. It is in the interest of the House that I have been sued. I am ready to be taken to court for the benefit of the great people of Nandi County. I assure them I will not be intimidated through courts of law, goons or any other forms of intimidation. I shall live by the true spirit of Chelagat Mutai, Jean Marie Seroney and Koitalel Samoei, to ensure the great people of Nandi County across the six sub-counties continue to benefit from development. That will be aluta continua . Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope to see everybody back---"
