Members, as I had earlier on indicated, in the morning session, the Speaker confirmed that the requisite threshold was met to have this House adjourn to discuss a matter of national importance. I, therefore, rise that pursuant to Standing Order No.37, the Senate do now adjourn to discuss a definite matter of urgent national importance namely the increased femicide, cases recently witnessed in the country."
