Junet who took time last night to go through the Committee's Report, they will note that the Committee has proposed an amendment to include the words, ‘to reasonable standards of sanitation’. Therefore, we will not just be providing affordable housing, but housing that has, in the words of our Constitution, ‘reasonable standards of sanitation’. 2. Impose a levy to facilitate the provision of affordable housing. 3. Provide a legal framework for the implementation of the housing programmes and projects."
