If you go to any construction site or wherever there is construction, you will see many Kenyans milling around looking for employment. The housing programme we are discussing today will ensure that the majority of the unemployed get means of earning some income even if it is for a short period. We are not talking about labourers alone. We are talking about the professionals in the entire spectrum of employment in this country. We are talking about architects, engineers, electricians and masons. They will get employment in this good programme."
