"content": "The issue of IEBC seems to have been given a lot of attention. Reconstituting it is a major thing. We are going into the second year after the General Elections and we have a lot of gaps. We need the IEBC Commissioners to come into office and start their work so that we can take care of the past mess. We need to fill the gaps. There are many MCAs and Members of Parliament who have gone to be with the Lord. Once the IEBC is reconstituted, they need to immediately get to work. The earlier we do it, the better it is for our nation. The Leader of the Majority Party also mentioned that this august House has the mandate to extend time in case the Panel needs more time. The Panel is expected to complete their work within 90 days, but if that is not achievable, then we have the mandate to add them more days. However, it is my prayer that we will conclude this matter as soon as possible so that Kenyans can get the services they need from the IEBC."
