    "content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for giving me this chance to contribute on the issue of village elders. Allow me to start by congratulating the Member for this fantastic idea of supporting village elders throughout the country. Village elders play a great role in this country in relation to security, making sure that children go to school, and campaigning against the use of drugs and illegal brews in our villages. They are doing a great work. Therefore, I support the proposal by Hon. Malulu Injendi that village elders be paid an allowance or a salary for the great work that they are doing."
