    "content": "Secondly, there is the issue of the timeframe for resolution of presidential election petitions. The period will be increased from 14 days to 21 days. This is the period within which presidential election petitions will be resolved. When we have them, the Supreme Court is always under pressure most of the time. I can recall the recent petition where the Chief Justice, Martha Koome, was under pressure to meet the deadline. Sometimes when the Judiciary is under pressure to come up with a conclusive verdict on such an important matter, it needs a lot of time and consultation to make sure that each and every evidence is heard."
