Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, my first Question is framed as- (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary confirm the presence of any syndicates involved in the theft of cane at weighbridges while in transit to sugar factories and indicate the impact of such activities on sugarcane farmers? (ii) What actions is the Government taking to address the issue of theft of cane at weighbridges and the plans by the Cabinet Secretary to compensate sugarcane farmers and hold accountable the persons involved? Mr. Speaker, Sir, that is Question 003. Can I do the two questions?"
