    "content": " Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I have a question to the Cabinet Secretary with regards to the distribution of the subsidized fertilizer programme. Previously, when he appeared before the House, he made a commitment that they are doing the last mile programme so that farmers can pick it at the nearest possible location closest to their farms. He had said that they are in conversations with owners of agrovets. If farmers were to pay something slightly above the cost of the fertilizer, it would be within walking distance where they can collect the fertilizer and go to their farms. Unfortunately, in the programme as currently designed, farmers still have to travel some significant distance. What went wrong? This is because he had committed to us that that programme will run successfully so that the last mile part of the programme is well executed.
