I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53 (1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations regarding concerns of a renewed wave of banditry attacks along the Meru-Isiolo Border. In the Statement, the Committee should - (1) explain the security lapses, gaps and inadequacies along the Meru-Isiolo border in Meru County, particularly in the constituencies of Tigania East, Tigania West, Igembe North and Igembe Central, that has led to renewed wave of bandit attacks,"
