Environmental issues of growing concern in the world today include climate change, sustainable land management, pollution and waste management which constitute a direct threat to the quality of life particularly, among the poor. My Ministry will continue to effectively address these challenges through programmes and activities to be undertaken by the respective departments and parastatals that I have just mentioned.
