    "content": "Hon. Temporary Speaker, as I conclude, this House—as per the Constitution and Standing Orders— communicates to the members of the public through the Clerk. Clause 5(2) of the Bill says that the committee shall, in writing, notify the petitioner of the decision of the House. We need to change this provision and clearly indicate the Clerk shall, in writing, notify the petitioner of the decision of the House. The amendments will make it easier to present petitions to this House. Since we resumed from recess two weeks ago, we have been grappling with very many petitions that have not been processed. Why is it taking inordinately too long to process them?"
