    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Report by the County Public Investments and Special Funds Committee (CPISFC). I commend them for this Report and for meeting with all stakeholders on matters of retirement. The issues of older citizens in the country are not well appreciated and not well provided for in policy. That is why everyone who deals with matters relating to older generation persons and those who have retired seems to deal with them casually. This is not just a problem of county governments but of the national Government as well. Mr. Speaker, Sir, in the first instance, we need to encourage the Ministry in charge of labour to come up with a clear policy on how to take care of older people, including those who have retired.
