I feel frustrated when I am standing here as a Senator of the great County of Kiambu, where I am supposed to fight for my people, but when I try to do my oversight role, I feel that there are some other things that are happening around that are somehow jeopardizing that. That is why I am trying to implore the Chair to crack the whip on such committees, that would really not give any governor an opportunity to be heard or questioned so that he can answer questions that are affecting his country. As I thank the CPISFC that every governor has appeared before; those who did not appear were summoned and those who did not honour the summons were fined. I am also the Chairperson of the Committee on Roads and Transportation. A governor who never appeared before the Committee, was fined Kshs500, 000 and they paid.
