    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I remember I was moving but, unfortunately, some Members said that I should be moving when the whole House is here. I think this is a straightforward amendment and I would not want to belabour the point. It is about the Public Service (Values and Principles) (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 46 of 2022). Mr. Speaker, Sir, this amendment intends to capture Article 10 on national values and principles of good governance. Mr. Speaker, Sir, as you are aware, under Article 232, the values and principles of Public Service have been provided by our Constitution. Therefore, one of them is high professional ethics, efficiency and effective and economic use of resources."
