We should stand up as a House and say: “Enough is enough with this Article.” Lastly, there is an omission here that I thought should have been included in this mid- term strategy - debt re-negotiation. Some debts should just be re-negotiated. There is no way one is going to meet them, especially when they commit the money, do not use it, and it continues to accumulate interest. For us to remain relevant in this market, we should sit with the lender to re-negotiate the loan in order to pay it in a certain way. Otherwise, I thank the Committee. Let us stand for the people of Kenya and say no more borrowing to pay for existing debt."
