I want to support the Report of this Committee and give my input. It is commendable that this Report complies with the Public Finance Management Act as well as the Standing Orders. To that extent, kudos to the Committee. What is a bit disappointing about the Committee is their observation about the level of public participation during the consideration and preparation of this Report. Public debt is a matter of public concern. To have a Report in the National Assembly without public participation quite undermines public interest.
