They say that the Senator says that they look for funds for counties, let them go and tell the national Government that we have not received our disbursement for the last two months. Prioritization of disbursement of equitable share is very important. That is a very good policy recommendation that we must commend the Committee for. Recommendation (f) also caught my eye, that: “The Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee fast-tracks the process of unbundling, delineation and transfer of functions to the county government and submit a report to the Senate by June, 2024”.
