    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I take this opportunity to reply to our Committee Report. I also thank all the Members for their time and contributions. As a committee, we have keenly noted the different issues they have raised. The main responsibility of the BPS is to set out the strategic priorities and the policy goals. That is our responsibility as the Senate and the National Assembly to embark on this within the timelines that have been set by the Constitution. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we had different stakeholders during this BPS and the Medium-Term Debt Management Strategy (MTDS) process. The Cabinet Secretary of National Treasury, Prof. Ndung’u has always been very diligent in appearing before this committee and we appreciate it.
