"content": "This will change the percentage of power distribution in our country, if this continues for the next three to four years. It is only necessary that the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) can now put money that will equate constituencies because not all constituencies have the same distribution network of power. It means that there is an equitable share of Ksh14.5 billion. We can add other monies to support constituencies with challenges equally. This will enable us to bring up Kenya equitably, in all directions, and ensure the people enjoy power. The other important thing is what we were debating in the morning. The Chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee has raised a substantial issue that will bring development to Kenya. It is the promotion of cotton growing in parts of Kenya. It will also allow us to create employment in the value chain of the cotton industry. That is the plan of the Kenya Kwanza Government. If we encourage the growing of cotton throughout the Republic, we shall have fabrics made in Kenya. We will put on what is made in Kenya."
