I happen to have just come back from the district myself. The food situation is very critical. What exact criteria has the Minister used to give Wajir South only 24,000 beneficiaries when in reality, the number of people who are supposed to benefit from this scheme is three times the number of the people who have benefited? What criteria were used? The district is the largest in terms of size and, perhaps, has the largest population."
