Could he confirm that there is hue and cry in the country over the terms of engagement of census officials? Could he also tell us the number of personnel particularly, senior supervisors, supervisors and enumerators who have been engaged? What is the basis for establishing these categories? How much money – because this is where the problem is – will a senior supervisor, supervisor and enumerator be paid? For how long will they work? When will they start work so that this is clear to the country? Finally, what provisions has the Minister made to ensure that the nomadic pastoralists of northern Kenya are counted properly during the national census period?
