    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I also want to celebrate women on occasion of the International Day of Women. I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.52(1) to make a Statement on a matter of general topical concern celebrating the achievements and contributions of women from all walks of life, with a special focus on the women leaders in the Kenya Women Senators (KEWOSA), on occasion of the International Day of Women. This is to highlight the resilience, leadership and achievements of these remarkable women in their efforts in promoting gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. Mr. Speaker, Sir, throughout history, Kenyan women have surmounted a plethora of challenges that have tested their strength, resolve, and unity. Today, we not only celebrate their past and present victories, but also address the ongoing and emerging challenges they face in our society."
