    "content": "The Committee also attended the victim’s prayer meeting on 5th August, 2023, to commission the bomb blasts on the 7th of August, 2024 at the Memorial Park. The Committee met the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs and Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration. The Committee was also able to meet with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD). Mr. Speaker, Sir, although the Committee was unable to secure appointment with the United States (US) Ambassador to Kenya and the US Congress and the Senate, Sen. Maanzo and I attended the National Prayer Breakfast at Washington, DC, where we met various Senators."
