    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, the Ministry of Lands needs to address issues to do with councils. A number of my colleagues have not raised that issue. A lot of corruption and issues to do with land in this country emanate from the councils. Councils and councilors who are the trustees of land in a number of regions in this country, including where I come from, are involved in high level corruption, where through councillors, mayor, town chairman or a group of councilors, a number of Kenyans are allocated land and double registration is done. That means that corruption is very rife. I want the Minister to look into that issue."
