"content": "As I conclude, we have also noticed with concern that the Kenya Forest Service has limitations in carrying out forest protection and surveillance. There is a small number of forest rangers. Currently, one ranger managers about 1,500 hectares of forest against the required 450 hectares. There is, therefore, very poor forest protection and surveillance, and we ask that this matter be also sorted out."
