"content": "Thank you Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I am surprised by the answer from the Assistant Minister. I was in the House when the Government committed itself, through the Right hon. Prime Minister, and said that students in affected areas would not be sent home because of fees. Our understanding and that of the principals was that the Government had set aside some money that would be taken to those schools so that students continue learning. I am one of those people who thanked the Government for that. Surprisingly today, the Assistant Minister has turned around and is talking about the obvious Free Primary Education Programme (FPE) money and the subsidized free day secondary schools money. Assistant Minister, when can we be sure that the statements you make in the House, as the Government, are facts? Could you confirm to this House and to the rest of the nation that now that you made a commitment, you will look for money, as a Government, and send it to those schools which are running into losses?"
