    "content": "As hon. Members are aware, Kenya has a very limited access to electricity, less than 20 per cent because of our limited generation capacity. Over the years, we have been able to invest in plant power generation projects, transmission or distribution projects. We have also not been able to invest in geothermal resource which we have enough potential. In this Budget, we are proposing to invest in geothermal exploration and drilling some ten wells to generate about 140 megawatts by the year 2012."
