I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Health regarding the outcome of the assessment by the African population and Health Research Center on the policy and institutional constraints to the availability and supply of medical oxygen in Kenya. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) State the scope of the research conducted by the African Population and Health Research Center on policy and institutional constraints on the availability and supply of medical oxygen in hospitals countrywide, with a focus on the methodology and criteria used in the research.
