"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the issue of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is critical. Everybody is talking about it. I want to say that the Ministry of Finance is trying to negotiate with the Japanese Government to waive the debt of Kshs18 billion. Once that is done, the next move will be for the Ministry to move the KBC from Medium Wave to Frequency Modulation. The next move will be to move its television from analogue transmission to digital transmission. These things will be handled very well. We will have addressed all these issues."
