"content": " Hon. Temporary Speaker, this is a very sad day in Parliament. Article 95 is very clear. It says that the National Assembly deliberates on and resolves issues of concern to the people. Let me tell you something. If we cannot discuss the issue of the medical personnel on the Floor of this House, then I do not know why we should be here anymore. This is not the first time an Adjournment Motion is being moved in this House. It has been moved before. It will still be moved in the future. Hon. (Dr) Nyikal has done the right thing. He has written to the Speaker of the National Assembly and it has been approved. What is happening this afternoon in this House is to gag us from discussing the crisis that is going on in the health sector. If this matter cannot be debated in Parliament, do you want it to be discussed on the streets like what is happening now?"
