    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for considering giving me this opportunity. I want to support Sen. Cherarkey’s Statement on the performance of our athletes. First of all, I was very impressed, and I think this is a clear indication that when we are pushing for affirmative action, you can see some of the results, even in the field of athletics. Some people might not really understand why we celebrate Hellen Obiris's win. The time she used for the marathon was two hours, 22 minutes and 37 seconds. I wonder how long Sen. Cherarkey would take to run that marathon, so that we put it in perspective. Together with Sharon Lokedi and Edna Kiplagat, they did an excellent job. I congratulate them.
