I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended— (a) in the proposed amendments to the Assumption of the Office of the President Act (No.21 of 2012) by− (i) deleting the proposed new paragraph (ca) appearing in the proposed amendment to section 5(2). The justification is that the Office of the National Security Advisor is not a statutory office. Therefore, we have had to exclude that person from sitting as a member of the Assumption of the Office of the President Committee."
