"content": "extent to which our education is relevant to the needs of our country. It appears that all the way up to primary level, we teach our children how to read and write but very little of how to work and convert the little knowledge they have into any relevant output. Then all the way through secondary, it seems that we continue to teach our children how to read and write. So, we end up with children at âOâ Level who only know how to read and write. When you ask them whether they are capable of converting the knowledge they have acquired after 12 years of education into any wealth, most of them will be looking for clerical jobs. Is our education relevant? How much research is being done to ensure that there is harmony between the output of our education system and the productive need of our economy?"
