    "content": "The Ministry of Education has the biggest responsibility to the Kenyan child, whose is born today, tomorrow and on any other day. The Ministryâs mandate starts at the primary school to the secondary school to teacher colleges and, of course, the Teachers Service Commission, the Kenya Institute of Education, the Kenya National Examinations Council and to what we now refer to as CEMASTEA. We, as a committee, were able to sit with the Minister and the entire staff. We were convinced that this Ministry deserves this kind of budget or even more. We noted with a lot of appreciation the fact that the budget to this Ministry has gone up to the point that we are now talking of 15.56 per cent of the national Budget going to this Ministry. This is the Ministry that actually takes the lionâs share of our national Budget this year."
