"content": "With regard to the 8-4-4 system of education, the world has moved towards a broad-based curriculum rather than a pointed, single line and myopic approach. Countries like Japan and South Korea, which are the tiger nations of today, have a broad-based system of education. I would like to assure the House that we shall spare no effort against anybody who misappropriates the infrastructure money, which has been sent to schools. That money is meant to address the very issues you are raising here. That is why we put management teams through a broad range of management skills; this is meant to equip them with management skills. If they cannot manage, we are sure of showing them the door. We have done that to a couple of them. We even demoted some, and I think that is the way to go."
