    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the issue of basic sanitation cannot be overstated, particularly in a place called Wajir. I know the Minister had an opportunity to visit that place; it is the only part of this country where, 40 years down the road, the communities there continue to use bucket latrines in order to discharge their waste. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, if the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation does not take that particular district as a priority district in terms of engagement and investment, I think that the communities that live there will continue to be confronted with diseases that could, otherwise, have been managed, if the Ministry had invested much more. Together with the Ministry of Local Government, I think the Minister can do something to save the local populations there from any outbreaks that might be apparent."
