"content": "constitutional and statutory requirements relating to the Office of the Head of Mission and the general suitability of the nominees for the appointments proposed. The Committee considered the nominees’ filled questionnaires pursuant to Section 6 (8) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approvals) Act Cap 7, and looked at their CVs. Having heard their oral submissions during the approval hearing, the Committee made specific observations on each of the nominees. The following are the general observations. 1. Hon. Vincent Mogaka Kemosi, High Commission nominee to Accra, Ghana, vide a letter dated 8th April 2024, notified the Clerk of the National Assembly of his withdrawal from the approval hearing process, pursuant to Section 6 (10) of the Public Appointments (Parliament Approval) Act. Therefore, his nomination lapsed."
