"content": "them to community health workers who are paid a salary. It will be in order for caregivers to be brought on board and given some allowance. It is also good to appreciate that those caregivers are fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers who also have a duty to care for their families. Yet, they are dedicating their entire day to taking care of PWSD. What becomes of their families? Who takes responsibility for their immediate roles as citizens, fathers and mothers? That rings a bell that they should also be seen as part and parcel of those within the realm of disabilities, even if they are not disabled per se . Another issue is the token that the Government normally gives to PWSD. We are desegregating PWDs and having a cluster for PWSD, which means people who cannot help themselves completely. Therefore, the ordinary token that is normally given by the Government of Ksh2,000 per person does not help. This Motion calls on this House to review that amount. It asks the concerned ministry that PWSD deserve better remuneration and stipend because they are unique and extreme cases."
