In 2004, the National Police Service (NPS) launched gender desks in the sub- counties. I am not sure whether you are aware that there is a spike in gender-based violence, intimate partner violence and even these criminal activities being carried out by the foreigners. Is it possible to get a report on the state of the gender desks in the sub- counties? If possible, can we try and do something to highlight the processes because, I know there are no frameworks within the gender desks to ensure that we have convictions on these criminal activities on our women particularly.
