    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me an opportunity to contribute to the statement on the flooding disaster response in Nairobi City County. The flooding in this country this year is unprecedented because the volumes of water that we have received from the precipitation in most parts of the county have led to a disaster and loss of lives. It is fresh in our minds that in Mai Mahiu, many lives were lost out of a disaster that has never been seen in this country before.
