    "content": "In my own County of Kisumu, we have not only lost crop and livestock, but also lives. For the first time since 1964, the volume of water in Lake Victoria has moved from less than 2.4 million to 2.6 million cubic litres per second, leading to a backflow that has affected Kabonyo/Kanyagwal, Nyakach and other sub-counties in Kisumu County. Mr. Speaker, Sir, the response of the Government must be commended because it has ensured that relief is supplied to the sub-counties."
