    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare regarding the various fees introduced by the Human Resource Management Professional Examinations Board (HRMPEB). In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Report on all fees charged by the HRMPEB, compared to fees charged by similarly placed examination and certification bodies, outlining any measures put in place by the State Department of Public Service to ensure any fees introduced and charged by the board are reasonable and legal. (2) Explain the basis for introduction of exorbitant and unreasonable fees, including administration fees for private candidates and curriculum support fees by the board, vide an internal memo dated 14th February, 2024. (3) Outline any steps taken by the State Department of Public Service to have the fees reviewed to reasonable and legal amounts. (4) Explain any steps taken by the State Department of Public Service to ensure that all students, past and present, are reimbursed for all exorbitant and unreasonable fees charged by the HRMPEB."
