Let me quickly add my voice to the three Statements, which have been brought to this honourable House, and let me start with your statement. It is very unfortunate that, to date, the body of the late Sniper has not been laid to rest. You can imagine the agony that the family has been going through since that young man was murdered? To date, he has not been put to rest. It means his family cannot settle for having somebody in the mortuary. I would urge the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, coming from a neighbouring county, to take this matter seriously. This is a matter we have had the Deputy President speak on, and I would kindly ask you, as a leader from the same community, please, let us stop politicising this issue. The young man needs to be put to rest. I urge the people of Meru County as we look for justice--- Yes, I know justice delayed is justice denied. Let us please allow the body of the late Sniper to be put to rest, so that people can start mourning. When the body is in the mortuary, I believe the family is not even able to mourn, let alone move forward very quickly.
