    "content": "(a) Yes, I am aware that Githioro Primary School was affected by the post-election violence in January 2008 and has since not reopened. This is due to displacement and exodus of teachers and pupils to the neighbouring schools, namely, St. Mary’s Andama, St. Joseph’s Makutano, Maji Mazuri Forest and Maji Mazuri RC Primary schools. Currently, the pupils are comfortable learning in these schools. That explains the reluctance of the school’s management committee and the parents to revive the closed Githioro Primary School."
