"content": "year. We have tabulated the number of classrooms we require countrywide as per county. I have attached the table there for Members to confirm. The Government has also taken proactive steps to ensure that the infrastructure requirement for the year 2025 is in place. For that particular purpose, the Government has allocated a conditional grant of Kshs3.39 billion to the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), which is being distributed across constituencies. That is, of course, taking into consideration the needs assessment that we have done, covering the entire country. We have agreed that the NG-CDF is also supposed to match these funding from their allocation, such that once we do one classroom using these funds, they will also do one classroom. Out of this, we expect to do 6,000 integrated resource centres for our junior schools. Additionally, we have engaged the World Bank and have an allocation of Kshs9 billion, money which we will also use to construct another 9,000 classrooms. In total, that will make 15,000. The implementation of this particular structure was based on Sessional Paper No.1 of 2019, which was a post framework for reforming education and training for sustainable development in Kenya. The same Sessional Paper was presented in the last Parliament, where it was debated and approved. It is on the basis of that approved Policy Paper that we have that particular structure in place. We have also employed various other methods to create awareness. They include public forums, press releases, circulars and official statements to convey information on key issues on CBC, such as the domiciling of junior schools. We also had various public forums on the guidelines for implementation of the junior schools, including the rationalisation of the learning areas. We reduced the learning areas as recommended by Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) in almost each and every level. The other State Agencies which are involved in ---"
